Hillcrest Movers
Hillcrest is an older neighborhood in San Diego with a population of just over 13,000. A diverse community, Hillcrest is known for it’s locally-owned restaurants, bars, clubs and businesses. A bus and trolley service is available to downtown but Hillcrest is small enough to be fully walkable with easy access to all amenities. This is helpful due to a severe shortage of parking spots in the community.
There is a very active gay, lesbian, bi-sexual and trans-gender population in Hillcrest with Maureen O’Connor in 1986, being the first elected mayor to march in the annual Gay Pride parade. Attempts have been made to organize protests against the parade but officials quashed them.
