La Mesa Movers
La Mesa is a community situated in the hills of San Diego county. La Mesa has an ideal climate, quaint, tree-lined streets and friendly neighborhoods. Access to shopping both in retail areas and the downtown village area, make La Mesa a great place to live and raise a family. Sometimes knows as “Jewel of the Hills”, La Mesa was officially incorporated as a city in February of 1912.
The village holds many events throughout the year including Christmas in the Village, an Antique Street Fair, a Back to the Fifties car show in summer, as well as their biggest event being Oktoberfest, which attracts over 200,000 visitors annually. Every Friday afternoon a Farmer’s Market takes place in La Mesa Village and is highly popular with locals and visitors alike.
La Mesa is the home town of late actor Dennis Hopper, who passed away in May of 2010. It is also the home town of singer of Eddie Vedder from Pearl Jam, and retired Major League Baseball infielder Aaron Boon who played for the Cincinnati Red Sox.
