Normal Heights Movers
Once a very sparsely populated farming community, Normal Heights was platted in 1906. The next year Line #11 trolley tracks were laid and the area began to grown in development and population.
Bertram J. Carteri, a carpenter who arrived in Normal Heights in 1916, was elemental in the development of the business area of Normal Heights when he began buying and fixing homes and later commercial lots. He partnered with a local architect and they erected what is now known as the Carter Center. (once the Carteri Center)
Normal Heights sits in the mid-city area of San Diego and is knows for it’s affordable shops, including books shops, antiques, restaurants and pubs. The community has a growing arts following as well as important musical events which take place in the neighborhood each year. Free live concerts are featured with various styles of music.
